Product Introduction

The refractoriness of high alumina bricks is higher than that of clay bricks and semi-silica bricks, up to 1750~1790℃, which belongs to the high-level refractory materials.The A12O3 content is higher than 90%, which is called corundum bricks. Due to different resources, national standards are not completely consistent.
For example, European countries on high-alumina refractories provide A12O3 content lower limit of 42%. In China, according to the high alumina brick A12O3 content is usually divided into three levels: Ⅰ - - A12O3 content > 75%; Ⅱ - - A12O3 content of 60 ~ 75%; Ⅲ - - A12O3 content of 48 ~ 60%. High alumina bricks in the A12O3 more, close to the neutral refractory materials, can resist acidic slag and alkaline slag erosion, due to which contains SiO2, so the ability to resist alkaline slag than the ability to resist acidic slag weaker.
Aluminum oxide content of more than 48% of a neutral refractory. It is made of bauxite or other raw materials with high alumina content by molding and calcining. High thermal stability, refractoriness above 1770℃. Good slag resistance, used for masonry steelmaking furnace, glass furnace, cement rotary furnace lining. Mainly used for masonry blast furnace, hot blast furnace, electric furnace roof, blast furnace, reflector furnace, rotary kiln lining. In addition, high alumina bricks are also widely used as heat storage type lattice bricks for flat furnaces, plugs for pouring systems, water spout bricks and so on. But the price of high alumina bricks is higher than clay bricks, so it is not necessary to use high alumina bricks where clay bricks can meet the requirements.
