Product Features
Castables made from the lightweight mullite microporous (nanometer-scale) homogenized aggregate can directly contact flames and withstand temperatures exceeding 1500°C. They have a density of ≤2.0 g/cm³, a compressive strength of ≥45 MPa, and a thermal conductivity of ≤0.800 W/(m·K) (at 1000°C). Additionally, they form an “isolation layer” with slag, slowing down molten slag penetration into the aggregate, which significantly enhances resistance to slag penetration and erosion, greatly extending the lifespan of the lining. This material is a new, high-efficiency, energy-saving, and emission-reducing solution.
